Robin Montgomery and Greet Minnen, both qualifiers in Hertogenbosch, are set to square off in the second round. This second career meeting is also their first in the main draw of a tour event. With five wins in six grass matches, our prediction backs Minnen to prevail.

Montgomery will fancy her chances here against Minnen. The American, who made it to the quarter-finals in her last appearance at the Libema Open, is unbeaten in three outings on grass.

That was her fifth victory in six outings on grass this season, and as a result, she has reentered the WTA top 200. Minnen is a two-time Hertogenbosch quarter-finalist.
