13th placed Millwall host Leeds United who are two places below them in the Championship. Millwall are only three points behind the final promotion play-off place after the first five games of the new season. With this being the only match being played on Sunday, that gap is bound to widen before this game kicks-off. The Lions began the 2023-24 season with a 1-0 win at Middlesbrough who begin the weekend bottom of the table. The next two league games both ended in defeat.  There has been some recovery though with four points being earned from their last two games. That included a 1-0 home win over Stoke City thanks to a Kevin Nisbet goal. He scored again in the following away game at Birmingham but they drew that 1-1.

Leeds United will have wanted a better start to the season after their relegation from the Premier League. They are only five points away from the play-offs but can't let that gap get too much wider. Key players have left the club and they will struggle to make an immediate return to the top flight. The Whites struggled in their opening game back in the Championship going 2-0 down at home to Cardiff City but recovering to earn a 2-2 draw. A 1-0 loss at Birmingham followed before coming from behind at home to West Brom to get a 1-1 draw. Their only league win of the season has come at Ipswich Town, winning 4-3. It was back to normal last time out with a 0-0 home draw with struggling Sheffield Wednesday. We go for under 2.5 goals in this match.
