Laura Siegemund will be hoping that Inglis’ marathon tournament opener has taken a toll on her ahead of their clash.
The German, who also had to dig deep to advance to this round, is seeking to reach the third round for the second season running. Siegemund produced a strong comeback win against 18th seed, Liudmila Samsonova.
The world number 48 fought back after losing the first set 6-0 and confirmed victory in two hours and 33 minutes.
