Top seed Luke Littler is two wins away from retaining his PDC World Darts Championship. In Friday's semi-final, he takes on the 20th seed Ryan Searle. Can 'Heavy Metal' dethrone the world champion? Read our match prediction below.
This marathon tournament began on December 11 and Littler won his first three matches without dropping a set. That run ended in round four when Rob Cross won a couple of sets against him but ended up losing 4-2.
Thursday's quarter-final saw the world number one defeat Krzystof Ratajski 5-0 and recorded an average of 100.04. Ten 180s were scored and he also won one leg via the maximum checkout of 170.
Ryan Searle is in his first ever World Championship semi-final. His previous best has been the fourth round. He won two Players Championship titles last year but failed to get to this stage of any of the major televised PDC tournaments.
He's been in excellent form in these championships and won his first four matches without losing a set with a highest average of 102.28 in round three. Thursday's quarter-final saw him beat fifth-seeded Jonny Claydon 5-2.
He only averaged 91.32 though and will need to up that to be competitive.
