The second quarter-final at the Australian Darts Masters will see Luke Littler take on Damon Heta on Saturday. The winner of this match between The Nuke and Heat will meet either Stephen Bunting or Josh Rock in the semi-final. Let’s get into the match prediction.

Luke Littler was given a massive scare in his opening match of the Australian Darts Masters, pushed all the way to a deciding set by New Zealander Haupai Puha on Friday. 

The Nuke dropped the first two legs of his match and was down 3-4 before rallying back to win the final leg against the darts. He averaged 91.80, well below his usual standard. 

Littler recorded three 180s, a checkout rate of just 31.58% (6/19) and a highest checkout of 119. Still, he is now on a six-match win streak and has won eight of his last 10.

Meanwhile, Damon Heta will enter this match with bags of confidence, having been the only player to deliver a whitewash in the first round, beating compatriot James Bailey 6-0.

Heat averaged a staggering 109.98 - the highest of any player in the opening round - and opened with back-to-back 12 darters, as well as a 117 finish. 

While odds have shortened on the only remaining Aussie in the field, it is worth noting Heta has not beaten this opponent in their last five encounters.
