Luke Humphries and Krzysztof Ratajski will lock horns in the first round of the European Darts Championship 2025 on Friday evening. The winner of this match between Cool Hand and the Polish Eagle will face either Gary Anderson or Cameron Menzies in round two. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Luke Humphries reached the quarter-final of the European Darts Championship last year as the number two seed and will be hoping to go further this year despite a drop of three places.

The Polish Eagle managed to clinch his first Pro Tour title since 2023 by beating Dave Chisnall in the Players Championship 15 back in May, and reached the quarter-final of the Swiss Darts Trophy on the European circuit.
Ratajski produced an impressive run to reach the semi-final of the German Darts Championship ahead of this competition. However, he has lost his last six matches against his upcoming opponent.
