Unseeded Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro is one win away from the Wimbledon quarter-finals. Round four sees her take on the in-form 19th seed Liudmila Samsonova. Will another seed be beaten? Read our match prediction.

Maneiro reached round three here in 2024 but has gone a round further this time around. The 22-year-old only played one grass court warm-up tournament this year. That saw her beaten in round one by Heather Watson.

At Wimbledon though, much better form has been shown by the Spanish player. Ella Seidel, 30th-seeded Sofia Kenin and Dayana Yastremska have been beaten without a set dropped. The victories have taken her to a career-high 50th in the rankings.

This is her first time in the fourth round of a Grand Slam tournament. The winner of this match will take on either Iga Swiatek or Clara Tauson next.

Liudmila Samsonova has made short work of her three opponents this week. The Russian has won all six sets played with only 13 games lost. Round one saw her beat Eastbourne champion Maya Joint. That's been followed by victories over Yullia Starodubtseva and 16th seed Daria Kasatkina.

This is her second time in the fourth round, also getting this far in 2021. Samsonova is up to 17th in the live rankings.
