Lloyd Harris defeated Fritz in their most recent meeting. Much has changed in the careers of both players, and he now meets a totally different opponent. The South African, though, will fancy an upset, especially considering he is on a roll.

Harris is on a four-match winning streak with only one set lost. He defeated Sebastian Baez in straight sets as he made his main draw return after missing out last season. A former US Open quarter-finalist, Harris has largely competed in the Challenger circuit since last season.
