Leinster have an impressive record in the European Rugby Champions Cup. Their 2025-26 campaign gets underway this weekend with a home game in Pool 3 against Harlequins. Read our match prediction below.
There are six clubs in Pool 3 with the top four going into the knockout stages. Also in Pool 3 are Aviron Bayonne, Stade Rochelais, Leicester Tigers and Stormers. Finishing fifth will mean being moved to the European Challenge Cup.
Leinster have won this competition four times and been losing finalists the same number of times. Last season saw them win all their pool games and eventually lose in the last four to Northampton.
They are sixth in this season's United Rugby Championship with two of their three home league games won.
Harlequins are down at eighth in PREM Rugby with two wins and four defeats. All three of their away league games played this season have been lost. Defeats were inflicted at Leicester Tigers, Exeter Chiefs (failing to score) and Gloucester. They are the joint lowest away league scorers.
Last season saw them finish fourth in their pool. In the last 16 they were drawn away to Leinster and were beaten 62-0. They will hope for a better performance this weekend but we tip Leinster to win on a -24 handicap.
