Stade Rochelais will be looking for their third consecutive victory when they host Racing 92 in this Top 14 round nine fixture on Sunday. The Yellow and Blacks sit sixth in the standings with 20 points – one place and one point behind Racing 92. Here is our prediction. 

Stade Rochelais won both halves to stun Lyon 36-19 away at Stade de Gerland last week. Les Bagnards silenced the Lyon crowd, winning 28-19 in the first half and 8-0 in the second half to secure an unlikely victory. 

They have won four of their seven Top 14 matches by impressive margins, including all three of their home fixtures. They have also beaten Racing 92 eight times in their last nine home encounters. 

After a heavy 45-21 defeat to RC Toulon, Racing 92 scraped past Section Paloise 15-10 at home last week to return to winning ways. Le Racing outscored the visitors by nine unanswered points to overturn a four-point first-half deficit, thanks to fly-half Ugo Seunes’ set-piece heroics. However, Patrice Collazo’s side have struggled for results on the road lately. They have lost three of their last four away games.
