Kyrian Jacquet, a lucky loser at the Moselle Open, has made it to the quarter-finals, where his next opponent is seventh seed Cameron Norrie. This is their first career meeting. Read on for our prediction of the match.

Jacquet is having his best-ever performance at a tour event. Before arriving in Metz this week, the Frenchman had never won a match at a tour event.

Now he has won two and is three wins away from possibly a first-ever title at this level. Jacquet, who had suffered elimination in the qualifying rounds, defeated fellow lucky loser Dan Added in the last round.

He lost just two games against his fellow countryman. Yet to lose a set this week, Jacquet has improved to 35-22 and jumped 20 places to 136th in the live ranking.

Cameron Norrie is having another strong campaign in Metz. The Brit was a finalist in this event last season and is targeting going one better this time.

Norrie, who has played a decider in both of his fixtures, defeated Arthur Cazaux in a hotly contested match in the last round. The 30-year-old fought his way back from losing the opening set and secured victory in two hours and 49 minutes.

Now with 37 wins from 65 outings, Norrie has advanced to his fifth quarter-final of the year. He, however, faces Jacquet, having dropped to 30th in the live ranking.
