Lechia Gdansk and Lech Poznan will clash in the second week of the Ekstraklasa, both seeking to rise from disappointing outings. Champions Lech Poznan will be visiting Gdansk in this match, and below we have a prediction.
Lechia Gdansk started the season with a five-point penalty after failing to meet their financial requirements. Their situation was made even worse with their opening 2-1 loss to Gornik Zabrze.
Returning home, Gdansk are sure to spend at least two more weeks at the bottom. Their opening defeat marked a third straight winless outing in the league. Home form reads four wins in the last five matches, whereas five of six home league games had over 2.5 goals.
