Israel will be away to Kosovo on Sunday for their next 2024 Euro qualifying assignment. The two teams are separated by four points in Group I with fourth-placed Israel having the edge over Kosovo in fourth. Kosovo’s chances of making it to next year’s continental showpiece in Germany are hanging by a thread. A third loss in this group will mean the end of their qualifying journey. Primoz Gliha’s men have amassed seven points and sit eight points outside of the top two places. Kosovo, who won 3-0 away to Andorra last time out, have drawn all three of their home matches.

Israel are much better off than Kosovo regarding qualifying for next year's tournament. The Chosen Team sit four points adrift of second place. They have a game in hand on the two teams in and around them. If qualifying via their group isn’t attainable, Alon Hazan’s men can try to do so via the playoffs. Israel are assured of a playoff spot thanks to their successful Nations League campaign last season. They sealed promotion to League A after winning their group in League B. After the Kosovo match, Israel next play second-placed Switzerland and then group leaders Romania. Both matches have them as hosts. But due to the country’s ongoing conflict with Palestine, the two matches will be played in Hungary. Israel haven't lost in their last four qualifiers and defeated Belarus 1-0 last time out.
