After a solid mid-table finish last season, Konyaspor will be relatively content with their start to this campaign, currently on 11 points with a record of W3 D2 L3 after eight matches. 

However, the Anatolian Eagles are now hoping to avoid a third league match without victory after suffering an unexpected 3-2 defeat to league newcomers Kocaelispor at the weekend. 

The hosts have split their four home games this term, two wins and two defeats. Notably, though, they have scored 15 goals to date, which is the second-most in the top flight. 

Meanwhile, pressure is building on Sergen Yalcin to find consistency, as he has now managed only 10 points from his first seven league games in charge of Besiktas. 

The Black and Whites squandered a one-goal lead to lose 2-1 to Genclerbirligi at home over the weekend, and they are now already 12 points behind league leaders Galatasaray. 

The visitors have only taken four points in as many away league games this season, but they did manage to hold Cimbom to a 1-1 draw in their last outing.
