Kazakhstan will look to boost their Euro 2024 qualifying hopes when they host San Marino on Friday. With two rounds left to play Kazakhstan are third in Group H while already eliminated San Marino are sixth. Kazakhstan can seal automatic qualification but they will have to win their matches and hope the teams above them don’t. Magomed Adiev’s men have earned 15 points from their eight qualifiers and sit four points outside of the top two places. If automatic qualification ends up being beyond them, the Hawks still have a lifeline as they are penciled in for the playoffs. Kazakhstan secured their place amongst the 12 teams that will compete in the playoffs via the Nations League. The hosts won 3-0 against San Marino back in June and have now won all three meetings against Friday’s visitors. Kazakhstan defeated Finland 2-1 away from home last time out.

San Marino have been the whipping boys of Group H and have lost all eight of their qualifiers. They have conceded a whopping 26 times with only one goal scored in their favour. No other team in these qualifiers has conceded more. Fabrizio Constantini’s men registered their only goal in Group H last time out as they lost 2-1 at home against Denmark. San Marino have lost nine matches on the trot and have conceded at least three in five of those games.
