Second placed Qarabag have an excellent chance of making it into the Europa League knockout play-off round. They host Hacken who are bottom of the group and yet to earn a point. Qarabag are only above third-placed Molde on head-to-head results. They need to at least match Molde's result away at runaway group winners Bayer Leverkusen to go through. A place in the knockout play-off round of the Europa Conference League is already guaranteed for the Horsemen.. Two of their five group games have been won but only five goals scored with eight conceded. Home form in this Europa League group has produced a win over Molde and a 1-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen. They nearly got a point but conceded a 94th minute penalty. The Blue and Whites are top of the Azerbaijan league and won 6-1 away at the weekend. They are unbeaten in their last five games, winning four of them.

It's been a disappointing campaign for Hacken and all five of their group games have been lost. They are already out of the Europa League after scoring just two goals and conceding 15. Away form has not gone well with a 5-1 loss at Molde and losing 4-0 at Leverkusen. The reverse fixture with Qarabag saw a much closer affair with their opponents winning via a 70th minute goal. Their form coming into this game is not good at all with five of their last six competitive fixtures being lost. With the Swedish Allsvenskan season over (they finished third), their most recent game was a 4-3 away friendly defeat by HJK. We go for Qarabag to win this and lead at both half and full time.
