Petra Kvitova is the sixth seed at Wimbledon this year and despite a few injury worries is yet to drop a set in her three games played so far. The second of her two Wimbledon titles came in 2014 but she's had her fair share of problems since then. This is the first time that Kvitova has made it past the third round since her last title triumph here. Earlier this year Kvitova, a former world number one, lost in the final of the Australian Open. Previous matches against Johanna Konta have seen Kvitova win three out of four with wins in the last two meetings. On grass, Kvitova beat Konta last year avenging a defeat in 2016.

Johanna Konta has been climbing up the rankings again this year. She had an excellent clay court season and that culiminated in her reaching the last four at the French Open. Her Wimbledon record isn't the most consistent around. She did reach the semi-final in 2017 losing to Serena Williams but her other six appearances saw her fail to get past the second round.. Konta didn't do well in the warm-up grass tournaments but came from behind to beat ninth seeded Sloane Stephens in the third round here. This could well go to three sets and the tip is for Kvitoa to put her greater grass experience to good measure and get the win here.
