Jessica Pegula’s season has been dotted with disappointments, but she enters the Bad Homburg semi-finals as a favorite. For the chance to feature in her 19th career final match, the American will be up against Linda Noskova. We have the prediction for this second meeting between the two below. 

Pegula started the grass swing on a shaky footing, but she can make things right by securing a final slot. Defeat to Liudmila Samsonova in Berlin marked her fourth loss in 10 matches. 

However, switching to Bad Homburg, the 31-year-old did well to beat Katerina Siniakova and Emma Navarro to secure her slot in the semis.

Pegula has not lost a semi-final match this season, having played four. She has an eight-match winning run in the last four.

Noskova will be playing in only her second semi-final of the season, and she lost the first, in Dubai. She has the head-to-head advantage in this fixture after overcoming Pegula in Dubai in the third round.

The Czech put up a strong performance to overcome third seed Mirra Andreeva in the last round, and she will be confident of advancing here too. Four defeats in her last nine matches, however, cast a shadow on her ability to withstand Pegula. She holds a 3-4 record in semi-finals.
