Iva Jovic and Coco Gauff face off in an all-American fourth-round clash at the 2026 US Open tonight. Coco Gauff has not dropped a set at the event so far and has been on a terrific winning streak, making us back her for a straight-set victory in our prediction. 

Iva Jovic’s search for a second title has continued since her maiden WTA triumph in the 2025 Guadalajara Open. After second-round exits at the Toronto and Cincinnati tournaments, the California-born youngster has moved a step closer to ending that wait with a stronger showing at the US Open. 

Standing in her way tonight is World No.4 and tournament favourite Coco Gauff. Jovic scraped past Alexandra Eala in three sets in the third round, winning 7–5, 3–6, 7–5 on Sunday. She fell to Coco Gauff in her previous meeting and has lost six of her last 13 matches on hard courts.

Coco Gauff added a 12th WTA title to her collection after emerging as champion at the 2026 Cincinnati Open in late August. The 22-year-old is not slowing down. 

She has won all three of her matches at the US Open in straight sets, including a 6–3, 6–4 victory over Cristina Bucsa in the third round. Overall, the 2023 US Open champion has won her last nine matches, all on hard courts.
