Israel vs Switzerland Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Switzerland will hope to secure qualification for Euro 2024 when they travel to play Israel on Wednesday. They currently sit second in Group I four points ahead of Israel who are third. A loss here could mean the end of Israel’s automatic qualification hopes via group placing. It will however not mean the end of their qualification journey as they already secured a playoff spot via the Nations League. Alon Hazan’s men lost 1-0 to Kosovo over the weekend to suffer their second defeat in these qualifiers. They have won three times and have accumulated 11 points, one more than Kosovo in fourth. Due to Israel’s war with Palestine, the Chosen Team’s remaining home matches will be played in Hungary. Israel had gone four matches without defeat before traveling to Kosovo. The hosts will be without Roy Revivo for this match after the defender was sent off for two bookable offences against Kosovo.

Switzerland will secure automatic qualification if they come away with all three points here. Murat Yakin’s men are unbeaten in these qualifiers and have won four matches and drawn the remaining three to accumulate 15 points. They trail group leaders Romania by a point. Switzerland have however won only once in their last four qualifiers. This was a 3-0 success at home against Andorra back in September. Rossocrociati drew 3-3 with Belarus last time out. It was the fourth time in the group that they had scored at least three goals in a match. Switzerland have been the most prolific team in Group I and have so far scored 20 goals. They scored three without reply in the reverse match with Israel back in March.
