25th seed Katie Boulter begins her Indian Wells campaign on Friday. The British player faces unseeded Irina-Camelia Begu in round two of this outdoor hard court tournament. Who'll make it into round three? Read our match prediction.
Boulter received a bye into the second round of this WTA 1000 tournament. In five previous visits to this iconic venue, Boulter had never made it past round one. The 23-year-old is 38th in the live rankings. It's not been a great start to 2025 for her and she's 48th in the Live Race.
This is only her second singles tournament of the year, though she did play in the United Cup team tournament. Her one singles event was the Australian Open where she lost in the second round. Injury has kept her off court since then.
