We’re back at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday night for Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference finals between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. The Knicks beat the Pacers on Sunday but trail 2-1 in the series standings. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Indiana Pacers will be gutted after allowing a golden opportunity to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series slip in Game 3, when they allowed the Knicks to come back from 20 points down.

A major contributor to the Pacers' downfall was their poor conversion from beyond the arc. They shot just 20% from range, significantly lower than their back-to-back 40%+ conversion in Games 1 and 2.

Notably, Aaron Nesmith was forced off the court with an ankle injury, and while he did return, he performed well below his usual standard, ending with just eight points. 

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks looked as though they were headed for a third straight defeat on Sunday when Jalen Brunson picked up his fifth personal foul at the end of the third quarter.

However, Karl-Anthony Towns stepped up in a big way, scoring 20 of his 24-point total in the fourth quarter to lead his team to victory and breathe life into the series. 

Four of the Knicks' starters ended in double-digits, and the team evened out the rebound battle, which was a key factor late in the game.
