Hamad Medjedovic has made a good start to his clay court season. He has won one Challenger Tour title and was a semi-finalist in Barcelona. Round one of the Italian Open sees him face Valentin Royer and our match prediction definitely points towards a comfortable win for Medjedovic.

Medjedovic has won both of his previous matches against Royer. They were played on clay in 2022 and Royer is yet to take a set off his opponent in this match. He won the Naples Challenger Tour title and then got to the last four of the Barcelona Open.
