The last of four quarter-final matches at the Euro U21 Championship is a mouthwatering one, as Germany U21 squares off with Italy U21. While Germany topped Group B, Italy finished second in Group A to set up this clash. Rivalries don’t get bigger than this, and we have the match prediction below.

These two nations have eight Euro U21 titles between them and have finished as runners-up a combined four times. Germany are gunning for a fourth title and their group stage performance presents them as favorites here.

They are the only quarter-finalists to have won all their group matches. Germany were also the joint highest scorers.
