Unseeded Juncheng Shang has two Argentinians between him and the last 16 of the Winston Salem Open. He takes on Francisco Comesana in round one with the next scheduled opponent being seventh seed Mariano Navone. Here's our match prediction.
Shang is currently 77th in the live rankings and that's just below the career high of 73rd he achieved at the end of July. The 19-year-old has shown good form on hard courts in recent weeks. That was particularly the case in the Atlanta tournament where he reached the semi-final.
That included a win over world number 14 Ben Shelton. His most recent tournament was in Washington where he lost in round two. He led Arthur Rinderknech 3-2 in the first set but then had to retire. He's back fully fit and currently 61st in the Live ATP Race.
