Hosts France will look to confirm their spot in the playoffs for the first time, as they play Guinea in their second match of the Olympic men’s tournament. This Group A match at the Allianz Riviera in Nice on Saturday could see France confirm their place in the knockouts, and the prediction is a comfortable home win.

France started their campaign with a 3-0 win over the USA, although they needed to wait till the 60th minute to get on the scoreboard. Goals from Alexandre Lacazette in the 61st minute, Michael Olise in the 69th minute, and Loic Bade in the 85th minute gave them a comfortable victory. With the quality in the French camp, they are likely to go deeper in the tournament. A win here will almost assure them of a place in the knockout stage, even before their final game.

The win against the United States was France’s fifth over their last seven matches, with the other two ending in draws.
