Fenerbahce have the chance to pull clear at the top of the Turkish Super Lig when they host Alanyaspor on Friday. Read on for our prediction of this match as Alanyaspor go in search of their first win of the season.

This fixture has in recent seasons gone in Fenerbahce’s favor but they had to settle for a point the last time out. The 2-2 draw at home marked a fifth undefeated outing against Alanyaspor.

Ahead of this game, Fenerbahce lead the standings with seven points from three matches. They can take advantage of the fact Besiktas and Galatasaray have continental engagements.

In their last outing, Jose Mourinho’s charges blanked Rizespor 5-0, to go four matches unbeaten. That was also their fourth win in seven matches across all competitions this season.

Alanyaspor, who haven't won a game this season, are also seeking a first victory over Fenerbahce since winning here in 2021. Their prospects for this game don’t look very promising.

The visitors rose from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Goztepe in their latest game. Yusuf Özdemir saved them from a second straight loss but they have now gone winless in the last seven league matches.

In their only away match so far, Alanyaspor suffered a 4-2 defeat at Istanbul Basaksehir. Going to face an opponent they’ve struggled against, the visitors’ wait for a first league win of the season could be prolonged.
