The Basel transformation continues after being confirmed Swiss champions. Leading second-placed Servette by eight points, they will next host Luzern, who are sitting sixth. Going into the final week of the Championship Round, we have a prediction for the match.

The newly crowned champions have waited eight years for this moment, and they will continue with the party in front of home fans. Basel’s last outing ended in a 6-2 loss to Young Boys, but they won’t mind as long as their season’s target is reached.

They will seek to bounce back as at home, they are unbeaten in five, winning all.

Luzern are still harboring ambitions for Europe as they go into the final match. Though they only trail Lugano by a point, their fate as far as Europe is concerned is out of their hands.
