Fabian Marozsan vs Corentin Moutet Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Cincinnati Open

World number 71 Corentin Moutet came through qualifying and now takes on unseeded Fabian Morozsan on Wednesday. This is a first round match in the hard court Cincinnati Masters, read on to discover our match prediction.

Moutet was seeded 11th in the qualifiers and after a straight sets win over Daniel Altmaier took on Marton Fucsovics. That went to a deciding set with Moutet recovering after dropping the second. The Frenchman is up to 68th in the live list after those two wins.

Moutet is playing his first tournament since reaching the last 16 at the Paris Olympics. That was on clay though and the only event he played since the grass court Halle tournament. Now he plays in his first hard court tournament of the year.

He hasn't played on this surface since last November but did win a Challenger Tour hard court event last year. He has had good results on the ATP Tour in the past and made it to the fourth round of the hard cour US Open in 2022.

Fabian Marozsan has had one previous meeting with Moutet and won it. However, that was played on clay and he had to go to a final set to get the victory. The Hungarian is 50th in the latest rankings but his career-high is 36th achieved in May 2024.

Marozsan is struggling for form at present and has lost his last three matches. The most recent was on this surface when losing to Pablo Carreno Busta in the first round of the Rogers Cup in Montreal last week. 

He'll hope to recapture the form that took him to the quarter-finals of the Miami Masters in March. That was by far his best result on hard courts this year. We go for three sets to be played.
