Everton start the weekend in 11th place in the Premier League, six points off the top six and dare it be mentioned just eight off the bottom three. Next week they take a slim lead to Manchester City in the Capital One Cup semi-final but before that thy want three points off Swansea City. The home side have gone four league games without a win but have drawn three of those games and really should have won at Chelsea last weekend. Home form in the league hasn't been great recently with no wins in their last four games. All those matches have been against sides near the top of the table so the visit of relegation threatened Swansea might just do the trick. Swansea are one place above the bottom three after their home win over Watford on Monday. That win ended a run of four league and cup games without a victory. Away from home though Swansea are really struggling with just one point from their last four away league games and on top of that defeat at League Two Oxford United in the FA Cup. They have a new boss but can he work instant magic? Everton have flattered to deceive in recent weeks and can get a good home win here to gee them up for that semi-final in midweek.
