Only Manchester City have been able to beat Everton this season and Liverpool face a tough task to win this Merseyside Derby. They start the weekend in fifth place after coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at WBA on Monday. The best thing about that match was the fact that two of their goals were scored by Lukaku. Everton need the Belgian striker to be finding the net on a constant basis if they are to challenge for a place in Europe. At home Everton have drawn with Watford, lost to Manchester City and beaten Chelsea. Stones and Coleman are back in defence and that will make the home side difficult to break down. Liverpool continue to have their problems but at least managed to beat struggling Aston Villa at home last Saturday. That was the meat in the sandwich of two disappointing home performances against Carlisle and Sion.  Daniel Sturridge is likely to be back for this game after being rested for the game against Sion on Thursday.  The win over Villa left Liverpool ninth in the table and a win here will take them ahead of Everton which will really give their fans bragging rights.
