After a goalless draw in the first leg, it’s time for Egnatia and Ljubljana to battle it out in the third qualifying round of the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League. This second-leg match on Thursday will be played at Stadiumi “Arena Egnatia” with our prediction of under 2.5. The winner of this two-legged tie will proceed to the playoffs, where they play the loser of the Europa League third qualifying round between Lincoln Red Imps and Noah.
Both teams lost in the first qualifying round of the Champions League to drop to the second qualifier in this tournament. Egnatia lost to Breidablik before brushing aside Dinamo Minsk in the previous round. Olimpija lost to Kairat before a win against Inter Club d’Escaldes saw them reach this stage.
The first-leg draw made it three games unbeaten for Egnatia (W2, D1), keeping a clean sheet on all occasions. They are a tough team to beat at the back and have kept clean sheets in seven of their last eight fixtures.
Ljubljana followed up the first-leg draw with a 3-1 away win in the domestic league. Their recent form isn’t great, but four wins out of the last seven (W4, D2, L1) make them a tough cookie, although they have failed to score in three of their last four European trips.
