Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers heads back to Canada with the series tied at 2-2. It was another typically entertaining game in Florida, the third of the four games to go into overtime. Will this be another tight game? Let's make a prediction.
Goals and lots of them have dominated this series. The Panthers rushed into a 3-0 lead in the opening frame of Game 4 so they will be bitterly disappointed that they ended up losing the game 4-5 in overtime.
Leon Draisaitl got the winner for the second time in the series, the fourth time that he scored the winning overtime goal in the playoffs, setting a new NHL record with the most overtime goals scored in a single postseason.
At the 12:37 mark in the opening period in game two in Edmonton, the fifth goal of the game went in, with two of the other three games in the series both seeing three goals in them so both teams have been quick to find the mark.
The team to score first has won three of the four games in the series and both teams will be well aware of the importance of getting on the board first.
