After a slow start to the season, the Denver Nuggets are starting to heat up nicely, notching up their fourth win in five games last night when they beat the Pelicans 132-129 in overtime.
Nikola Jokic delivered a triple-double of 27 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook both got 20+ points, and Aaron Gordon added 17.
That win took the Nuggets up one to third place in the scoring charts, now averaging 119.9 points per game, but it also saw them slip to 26th on defensive end, allowing 117.3 PPG.
Meanwhile, the Suns have not been at their best lately and will be aiming to avoid a third straight defeat here after going down 133-125 to the Pistons on Sunday.
Kevin Durant led the team with an impressive 43 points and Bradley Beal added 26, but their major downfall was the inability of any of their bench players to manage more than five points.
