The Denver Nuggets (21-15) and the Brooklyn Nets (13-24) square off at Ball Arena in Saturday's NBA cross-conference clash. The Nuggets are fourth in the Western Conference, while the Nets are 12th in the East. Here's our match prediction.

Despite being without Nikola Jokic, the Denver Nuggets had no trouble brushing aside the Los Angeles Clippers in a decisive 126-103 home victory. In that match, Jamal Murray registered 21 points and nine assists while Russell Westbrook tallied 19 points and eight assists. 

Before this, the Nuggets' confidence was dented in a 118-106 home defeat against the reigning champions, the Boston Celtics. It's safe to say they've regained their momentum. 

Michael Malone's men have been in great shape in the past weeks and head into this clash with a 5-2 record. Home form has been promising too, with a 3-2 record.

The Brooklyn Nets have picked the wrong fixture to improve their league form considering they have lost four consecutive matches against the Nuggets. 

The Nets were recently outplayed in a 113-98 home defeat against the Detroit Pistons. While this result marked their third consecutive defeat, it also was the third time they'd failed to reach the 100-point mark.

On the road, their form has been nothing to write home about, losing five of their last eight matches. Due to these unsatisfactory results, they could find themselves settling for another unfavorable outcome.
