Denmark U21 will entertain France U21 in what’s expected to be a mouthwatering match in the Euro U21 quarter-finals. Both these teams finished group stage activities with seven points, but Denmark topped Group D as France finished second in Group C. Read on for our prediction.

Across all teams that qualified for the quarters, Denmark were the one that conceded the most goals (5). That’s the unwanted stat they’ll hope remains behind them.

The one they’ll want to enhance is that they scored seven times in the three matches. With a five-match unbeaten run, they will also want to extend that but with an improvement on the three draws.

France also had a good scoring run at the group stages and will especially be happy that there was squad rotation. The French actually recorded their biggest win with key players rested.

In their final group game, France U21 beat Poland 4-1 to complete their run of two wins and a draw. Like Denmark, the French also scored seven, but they conceded two less at the group stage.

This match being the fifth between the nations, inclusive of friendlies, Denmark lead the way with three wins. The last time they met, though, it was France who carried the day with a 4-1 win in a 2023 friendly.
