Dayana Yastremska vs Erika Andreeva Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Linz

Qualifier Erika Andreeva bids to make it into round two of the hard court Upper Austria Linz Open. The Russian takes on wild card Dayana Yastremska with the winner up against the third seed Donna Vekic in the last 16. Andreeva (the elder sister of Mirra) is 111th in the latest ranking list and had to go through the qualifying rounds to get into this main draw. The firs round saw her beat Arabella Koller 6-0 6-0. It was tougher in her final qualifying match and she dropped the first set to Tamara Korpatsch on a tie-break. The next two sets were easier though with Andreeva only dropping three games. This is her third tournament of the new year. The last 16 was reached in Brisbane but Andreeva then lost in the second qualifying round of the Australian Open.

Dayana Yastremska is the world number 29 but up a place in the live list. The 23-year-old began this year ranked 98th but has zoomed back up the rankings (her career high is 21st) after making it to the semi-finals of the Australian Open. Yastremska had  to win three matches just to get into the main draw of the first Grand Slam of the year. Once there wins came against top players such as Marketa Vondrousova, Emma Navarro Victoria Azarenka and Linda Noskova (who'd beaten Iga Swiatek) before losing to Qinwen Zheng. To get to the next round, Yastremska is in good form though and can get a win over Andreeva.
