Damir Dzumhur vs Vit Kopriva Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Mallorca Open

Qualifier Damir Dzumhur will be attempting to avoid a tenth first round exit of the year. He faces unseeded Vit Kopriva in round one of the grass court Mallorca Open. Dzumhur lost all his matches on grass courts last year and our prediction is a win for Kopriva.

In round two, the winner will take on either fifth seed Ignacio Buse or unseeded Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Dzumhur has only won 12 of his 32 matches played this year. He played three matches on this surface last year, losing them all and failing to make it into any main draw. This year has started a bit better as he has won two qualifying matches in Mallorca for the loss of nine games.

He is 105th in the live rankings and that is 40 places below his opponent.

Vit Kopriva won their only previous meeting and that was on a hard court last year.

Kopriva is playing his second grass court tournament of the year. He played in last week's Halle Open and had a tough first round draw against world number three Alexander Zverev. A defeat was suffered but he did take Zverev to three sets.

He played three grass court matches last year, winning one of them.
