The Cavs stumbled out of the gates with a 119-111 loss to New York to start the season but bounced back with a 131-124 win over the Nets on Friday. Donovan Mitchell took over the game, dropping 35 points on 10-15 shooting, which included drilling six three-pointers.

Cleveland are still making due without starting point guard Darius Garland, who continues to recover from a toe injury. The Cavaliers made the Rocket Arena a fortress last season, winning 34 of their 41 home games in the regular season.

For the Bucks, it was an offseason of change. Damian Lillard and Brook Lopez left the team, while they shelled out $108.9 million to lock down Myles Turner on a four-year deal.

The early signs have been promising with two wins from the first two, although Turner has experienced a slow start to his Milwaukee career. They’re getting excellent production from Gary Trent Jr, while Giannis continues to put up his usual monster numbers.

The Bucks beat Washington 133-120 to open the season and ran out 122-116 winners on the road over the Raptors on Friday.
