For the second time in just over a week the 15-14 Cleveland Cavaliers will host the 9-19 Charlotte Hornets in an NBA matchup. Although the Hornets are only 12th in the East, they got the better of the last meeting in overtime over the 7th placed Cavs. Can they repeat the dose early on Tuesday morning? Let’s make a prediction on the game. 

It’s been a rough season for Cavs fans. A team who topped the East last year have been ravaged by injuries this time around and are only just keeping their heads above .500 in the standings. 

The only win they have produced in their last five games has come over the Washington Wizards who prop up the NBA with the worst record. They also have just one win in their last six at Rocket Arena.

On the other hand, the Hornets have gone 5-5 in their last 10 after a 4-14 start, following up their win in Cleveland with a high scoring success over the Atlanta Hawks. 

Things came crashing down with a heavy defeat at the Detroit Pistons last time out but in general, they have been trending in the right direction and they will have confidence high after beating the Cavs when they last met.
