Fresh from a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their League One Playoff Semi-Final First Leg, Charlton Athletic host Wycombe Wanderers in the second leg on Thursday night with a spot at Wembley on the May Bank Holiday weekend up for grabs. Will the Addicks or Chairboys be the team we back with our prediction for this crucial season-defining match?

Prior to that first leg tie, Charlton finished their League One season strongly, winning 3-1 at home to Burton Albion on the final day to clinch fourth spot in the table ahead of Wycombe. The win extended their unbeaten home run to 15 games, stretching back to early December 2024. In contrast, the Chairboys succumbed to a third defeat in successive games on the final day, losing 3-1 at home to Stockport County, which dropped them from third to fifth in the final League One table.
