The Charlotte Hornets and the Golden State Warriors are set to battle it out at Spectrum Center in an NBA cross-conference clash. The Hornets are in 12th place in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Warriors are in eighth place in the Western Conference. Here's our match prediction. 

The Charlotte Hornets come into this match off the back of a 123-113 home defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks. Before this, they had been on a two-match winning streak. 

Despite that setback, Brandon Miller was the standout player in that match. He led the team with a game-high 31 points and grabbed eight rebounds. LaMelo Ball contributed 26 points. 

The Hornets are at home once again and, this time around, are seeking a positive outcome. At the Spectrum Center, their performance has been unimpressive with three losses in their last five games.

The Golden State Warriors, on the other hand, managed to see off the threat of the Brooklyn Nets. They secured a 120-107 away victory. 

As expected from the MVP, Stephen Curry, he was the standout player in that match. He led the team with a game-high 27 points. Jimmy Butler contributed 21 points.

The Warriors have underperformed on the road. Before their recent win against the Nets, they were on a three-match losing streak.
