Sunday 2nd November sees a crucial Old Firm clash as Celtic host Rangers in the Scottish League Cup Semi Final. The Hoops have home advantage against their great rivals 'Gers, and derby games between the two are always super-intense, cup games even more so. Let's check out our prediction for what should be an entertaining and dramatic match!
Both teams come into this game on the back of a change in manager from the start of the season. Rangers ousted Russell Martin and replaced him, after a while, with Danny Rohl while last weekend Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers resigned following a second straight league loss at Hearts.
Martin O'Neill has stepped up as interim manager to take charge of the Hoops for the next few games while the Celtic board find the new man to take the helm at the club.
Old Firm derby games are always packed with drama and this should be no different, so let's take a closer look at both teams.

Celtic - Rangers: Form Analysis
Celtic come into this game unbeaten at home in the league, but not in the best of form over the last four games (L2, W2).
Brendan Rodgers last few games as Celtic boss saw some uncharacteristic results.
That included a 2-0 defeat away to Dundee, which was followed by a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Sturm Graz in the Europa League, but then a 3-1 defeat away to Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts, which saw Rodgers tender his resignation 24-hours after that latest defeat.
Martin O'Neill stepped into the void left by Rodgers departure, following that loss at Hearts ,and had an immediate impact as Celtic were 4-0 winners at home to Falkirk in midweek - their best result of the season so far.
Since taking over at Ibrox, Danny Rohl has also overseen a mixed bag of results, although things have improved for Rangers domestically at the very least.
In his first game in charge, Rohl saw his new team go down to a 3-0 away defeat to SK Brann in the Europa League. Not the most auspicious start for the ex-Sheffield Wednesday manager.
However, his team did improve in their next games. That included a 3-1 home win over Kilmarnock, their first league win at Ibrox this season (in their fifth home game) and then in midweek, they took on Hibs away at Easter Road and came away with a creditable 1-0 win.
Those results leave Celtic third in the table on 20 points after ten games, with Rangers third on 15 points also after ten matches.

Celtic & Rangers Squad Analysis
Celtic have two major absentees for the Old Firm derby this weekend, both with long term injuries. Midfielder Jota is out for the seasonw itn an ACL injury while Cameron Carter-Vickers troublesome Achilles injury could also see him miss a lengthy period of time.
One positive is Daezan Maeda's return to full training following a hamstring issue.
The Japanese striker will give Martin O'Neill additional options in attack having come off the bench in midweek against Falkirk. Striker Johnny Kenny made a big impact in that game, scoring twice in the Celts 4-0 victory in the absence of first choice striker Kelechi Ihenacho.
Benjamin Nygren has been Celtic's star man this season. The Swede right-winger has scored five goals in nine league appearances, also contributing two assists.
Rangers boss Danny Rohl has a relatively clean bill of health for his squad for the game with Celtic.
The only injury absentee confirmed is full-back Dujon Sterling, who has been out since April with a long-term issue and is not yet close to a return.
James Tavernier has top scored for Rangers this season with four goals, but Brazilian striker Danilo has been in good form of late scoring against Kilmarnock, plus the winner at Hibernian in midweek, and he could be the major attacking threat for Rangers what is sure to be an ultra-competitive match.
Celtic - Rangers Key Points

Our Celtic vs Rangers Prediction
Our prediction for the Celtic vs. Rangers Scottish League Cup Semi Final match is: Celtic wins.
Both Old Firm rivals have not enjoyed the positive start to the season they would have wanted and both have had significant changes in manager and backroom staff as a result. Since then, both teams have seen an improvement in fortunes, but there is no doubt Celtic have the advantage here, being at home and with such a strong record against their rivals, backing them to land the win here makes perfect sense.
Celtic vs Rangers - Other Interesting Predictions
Celtic wins and BTTS - No
Our secondary prediction here is for Celtic to win the game and to also keep Rangers from finding the net. With two new managers, both teams will approach this game more pragmatically, which may mean chances are at more of a premium. Celtic's excellent home record has seen them concede just two goals in the league this season, while Rangers are struggling for goals home and away.
As such, backing Celtic to win this game to nil makes perfect sense as the data suggests a 1-0 or 2-0 scoreline is a relatively likely outcome.
