The second match on Saturday at the 2025 World Series of Darts finals is an all-Scot duel, with Cameron Menzies facing off against Peter Wright. The winner of this match between Cammy and Snakebite will face either Chris Dobey or Luke Woodhouse in round two. Let’s get into the match prediction.
Cameron Menzies pulled off a stunning victory over Michael Smith to qualify for the 2025 World Series of Darts finals and is now set to make his second consecutive appearance in the competition.
Cammy’s best result this year was winning the Players Championship 11 in April, where he beat none other than his upcoming opponent 8-3 in the final.
Menzies lost to eventual winner Joe Cullen in the third round of the PC27 in midweek and has a record of five wins and five defeats in his last 10 matches across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Peter Wright is one of only two players who have featured in every World Series of Darts finals. Over the years, he has notched up four wins and five runner-up finishes at the World Series.
Snakebite has not won a Major title this year and has openly acknowledged that he has had some struggles with his health in 2025 which have affected his game.
Wright’s last match ended in a narrow defeat to Stephen Bunting at the European Tour 11 event earlier this month, marking the fourth defeat in his last five matches.
