The Barclays Center will host tonight’s NBA matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and the LA Clippers. The Nets (11-23) are 13th in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Clippers (13-23) are 12th in the West. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Brooklyn Nets have cooled off since their three-game win streak last month, now 1-4 in their last five games after losing 104-103 to the Magic in O/T on Wednesday. 

However, there were some positives to take from that match, with Michael Porter Jr. putting up 34 points. They also played arguably their best final quarter of the season, scoring 29 points to force overtime. 

The Nets do have games in hand on the teams around them, so they could move up the table with a few wins. However, they are the lowest-scoring team in the league and have lost their last three games against this opponent.

Meanwhile, the LA Clippers will be looking to get themselves back in the win column after going down 123-11 to the Knicks in midweek. 

However, there is reason for optimism for the Clippers, as they’ve won seven of their last nine games, which included victories over the Pistons, Lakers and Rockets. 

Additionally, Kawhi Leonard is playing arguably his best ball of the season, while James Harden put up 23 points and nine assists in the last match. LA are now three wins behind the Grizzlies in 10th and have a game in hand.
