Francisco Cerundolo is the highest remaining seed in the Queen's Club grass court tournament. The seventh seed takes on unseeded Brandon Nakashima in the semi-finals. Nakashima is in good form and beat the top seed in the last eight. Our prediction is that he will reach the final.
Cerundolo has a mixed record on this surface. While the clay court specialist won the Eastbourne title three years ago, he has only ever won one of his five matches played at Wimbledon. That's a far inferior record to Nakashima as you will see later in this preview.
The world number 27 is up to 24th in the live rankings after this run to the semi-final. He has not had an easy week though with two of his three matches needing him to play a deciding set. That was the case on Friday when beating wild card Arthur Fery.
Brandon Nakashima is up to 30th in the live list so will be seeded at Wimbledon. He has reached the third round of that Grand Slam for the past two years. Round four was reached in 2022. His 2026 grass court season has started well for sure.
He has won all three of his matches in straight sets, including beating top seed Alex de Minaur in the quarters.
