An unseeded player will be in the last eight of the European Open in Brussels. Round two of this indoor hard court tournament sees unseeded Botic van de Zandschulp take on qualifier Eliot Spizzirri. Here's our match prediction.

Botic van de Zandschulp caused an upset in round one when beating the seventh seed Jaoao Fonseca. He won that match 7-5 7-6 and it took him just over two hours. It was a welcome win after two successive defeats.

Five tie-breaks have been played in his last three matches so a side bet on one here might be profitable. Van de Zandschulp is up to 81st in the live rankings after his first round victory. His 2025 hard court record is 14-14 with one ATP final on this surface reached two months ago.

Eliot Spizzirri  is 105th in the live rankings and he came through the qualifying rounds but had trouble in his first match. He had to come from a set down to defeat Zsombor Piros. This is only his third appearance in 2025 in an ATP Tour main draw.

The rest of his year has been spent on the Challenger Tour with two titles won, both on hard courts. Round one of this main draw saw him beat Pedro Martinez in straight sets. We tip van de Zandschulp to win this.
