The Denver Nuggets arrive at TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics in the NBA on Wednesday. The Celts (23-12) are second in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Nuggets (24-12) are fourth in the West. Let’s get into the match prediction.

After a worrying start to the season, the Boston Celtics are now in full flow. They have won eight of their last nine games and are now going for a fifth win in a row after downing the Bulls 115-101 on Monday. 

Despite shooting an underwhelming 40% from the field against Chicago, the Celtics were excellent on defence, restricting their opponents to just 33 points in the first half of the match. 

Jaylen Brown had a quiet outing with just 14 points, but Anfernee Simons stepped up, draining eight threes en route to 27 points off the bench. 

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets notched up a much-needed 125-124 victory in overtime against the 76ers on Monday. However, that was still only their fourth win in their last 10 games. 

Injuries have played a major role in their dip, with Nikola Jokic’s absence being the most significant. Jonas Valanciunas and Cam Johnson are also sidelined for the Nuggets at present. 

Denver are 14-7 on the road. This is the first meeting between these sides this season. The Celtics swept the series 2-0 last term.
