Barcelona are second in the table, two points behind leaders Atletico Madrid but with a game in hand. Madrid kick off earlier on Saturday so a win at 16th placed Las Palmas would see them go five points clear of Barcelona, all be it having played a couple of games more. Even so, Barcelona can't afford to make any mistakes in their home game against Athletic Bilbao. Barcelona have the best home record in the division with nine wins and a draw from their ten games. Three of their last four home games have been won 4-0, the other saw La Coruna score two late goals to grab a 2-2 draw. Athletic Bilbao are eighth in the table but only two points off a Europa League place. They have gone two league games without a win and lost 2-0 at Seville in their last league game. Away form for Bilbao hasn't been great and they have already lost five away league games including three of the last five. Another long struggle looks likely for them here and a Barcelona win on a -1 handicap looks sure to provide us with a winner.
