The Hawks will be looking for their third win of the NBA season when they welcome the Washington Wizards to State Farm Arena on Tuesday. The Hawks are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, while the Wizards are second-bottom. Check out our match prediction below!
The Atlanta Hawks made a positive start to the season, beating the Nets and Hornets in their first two games before running into the Thunder last night and suffering a 128-104 defeat.
Still, Atlanta are looking much improved this season, largely owing to the return of Trae Young, who seems to be getting back to his best form and led the team with 24 points and eight assists in the defeat to OKC.
As a collective, the Hawks are averaging 122.5 PPG on 45.4% shooting, including 34% from three-point territory and 77.9% at the free-throw line.
Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards are looking to avoid a third consecutive loss of the new season after two heavy home defeats to the Celtics (122-102) and Cavaliers (135-116).
Against the Cavs, Bilal Coulibaly scored 23 points, Jordan Poole contributed 14 and Alex Sarr added 12, but the Wizards' struggles are coming at the other end of the court.
Washington are allowing 128.5 PPG which ranks 30th in the NBA, on 50% shooting and 41.7% from deep.
